Linux MySQL Engineer - Short Term Contract Hire - Buffalo, NY
Seeking a consultant to manage the conversion of a sizeable MySQL Database from a stand-alone Windows to a clustered Linux environment. Successful candidate must be adept at setting up clustered UNIX environments using Redhat Linux. Must have experience clustering MySQL where nodes are kept in synch. Experience with MySQL replication is desirable. Experience creating a fail-over and load balanced environment is required. Experience using MySQL v4.1.3 or higher required. Experience with NDB (Network Database Manager) is required.
